Wylpena Vineyard - Reserve Cabernet - 2021

Our Wylpena Vineyard was established on the ancient, sandy soils of McLaren Flat well over a century ago by Chateau Reynella growers looking to supply rich, ripe grapes for the sole purpose of fortification. Our pre-clonal Cabernet Sauvignon produces a unique, rare and intense red wine that ages gracefully. 

The indigenous name Wylpena means "place of bent fingers," a reference to the shape of the local trees due to the prevailing winds. At DogRidge we love the historic nature and heritage of this special vineyard - and recognise the inconvenience of straight fingers when holding a wine glass....so here's to bent fingers!
